Re: Entry level analyst

Hi Ray,

Welcome to the Modern Analyst community for business/systems analysts!

The role of the business analyst is still maturing so what a BA does varies from organization to organization.  Here is a high level summary of the Business Analysis Profession.

Also - this page has a good list of some key flavors/roles of business analysis.

We also have a comprehensive list of knowlege-based business analyst interview questions.

Given that you are new to the profession and don't much experience, I would recommend taking an introductory business analysis course which will give you a good idea of what you need to get started.

Best of luck to you in your upcoming interview and your future career.

Sincerely,

Adrian
