Need advice on career

Hi,

I am currently Sr QA Engineer in US. I was Developer turned consultant turned QA. I am in the role of Sr QA engineer since 1.3 years. I would like to get advice on which direction should i go in order to enhance my career. I dont want to stick in the technical side for tooo long. I already have 7years of experience in the field of IT. Good pointers wil be really helpful for me.

I was looking for changing from QA to Business Analysis but not sure what is the correct way to get there. Any guidance in that area will help.

Thanks

AJS

Since you have sufficient IT exposure, you would have closely seen the work of BA work. That will be a great help. Get yourself trained with some job oriented BA trainings and plan from there.

Get yourself a Business Ananlyst internship and you would be on your way to a successful business analyst but I would recommend to pursue your IT career because I guess there are lots of opportunities in this field too as programmers are the need of the hour at the moment.
