What is the current role that artificial intelligence plays in ones role as a BA at the moment? Are these projects still limited or the vast majority within the field? What are recruiters looking for when it comes to background? Are companies with emerging technologies using artificial intelligence and neuro software increasing at a fast rate or slow rate? Interested what possible social media technologies might be emerging too. Are they exclusive to Silicon Valley and the Seattle/Eastside area?
You are asking some very broad questions...
Artificial intelligence is making a strong comeback with the advent of smart devices coupled with voice interfaces. I would say that the recruiters are looking either for experience or for education - you have to have something to get your foot in the door with an AI project. The run of the mill business analyst will not have a good chance landing such a job.
My advice to you is to educate yourself and get your hands dirty on a project - even if you have to do it for free.
