Business Process Documentation - Do you agree with this model? Can you help extend it? (How's & Why'
Modified By Adrian M. on 10/28/2009 12:11:08 AM)

Business process documentation - we've started to build a best practice framework for this based on our experiences.

We're hoping that this framework will allow us to exchange ideas and experiences with actual practitioners to create a more complete model that will benefit everyone.

So, if you can help extend this best practice model How's or Why's by commenting / making suggestions, we'll be happy to add to and change this model based on the best of those comments.

Click the link at bottom to see the model:

Mark:

To me it appears you are trying to do a process model of how to do process modeling.  Is that correct?  If not, what do you mean by a framework?

It is hard to comment on sub-processes like "Don't Waste People's Time.   What are the inputs to this process and the outputs from it?   I suggest looking at how the BABOK 2.0 utilizes input/output diagrams (i.e., stripped down data flow diagrams) to communicate.
