Business Analyst -- Clinet interaction
Hi Team I have a working experience of 5 years as a BA in investment banking domain. I am giving interviews for a position of Business analyst with 6 -8 years of experience. The main question which I think I am not giving a comfortable and confident answer is on the client interaction topic. I am not able to answer the question -- "what techniques do I use when the client refuses to give his time to discuss the requirements or the client tries to change the requirements in the middle of the running process ??" Could you please help me on this scenario or could please share any link or pdf for me to thoroughly study on this topic.

The best techniqe to clear any kind of ambiguities during the requirement gathering phase is to use graphical representations.  During the interactions ask the business users questions to discover what to draw next. This drives the users to think out of the box and to appreciate different view points. Also develop storyboards, mock-ups and prototypes to communicate ideas for navigation and interaction.
