Why? How to do it? BACKGROUND; 1. Import. My client has a primary process importing invoicing files from suppliers into Excel/Access. 2. Processing. Verifying the imported supplier invoices against business rules comparing & double checking that to a 2nd set of verification invoices. 3. Output. Is a excel spreadsheet differentiating discrepancies. WHAT I HAVE DONE SOFAR; * Did full scale analysis for scope * Requirements workshops * Vision Statement, Business process * Modeled Use Cases, UML, wrote use cases. The choice for Cognos/Oracle was automatic because of expertise and people "sitting on the bench" ready to get started. On Wednesday we would have a meeting with these techies to determine their goals and future possibilities.
