IIBA Survey on BABOK Tools and Techniques

The International Institute of Business Analysis is looking for feedback to help us finalize the content included in version 2 of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

The survey is fairly simple to fill out, and shouldn't take you more than 5 to 10 minutes to complete. It includes only four sections, with questions about your job background and the types of projects you've worked on. Then, we'll present you with a couple of lists of all the techniques that we're considering for inclusion. All you have to do is let us know if you've used those techniques when developing requirements, and if so, whether you use it occasionally or frequently.

If you're interested in the results of the survey, you can provide your email address to us upon completion, and we will send you a summary once it has been compiled. I'll also post a high-level summary of the results to this list.

We need as many responses as possible, so please feel free to forward this email to anyone you know who has done requirements engineering business analysis work, whether or not they are a business analyst. We're interested in feedback from as wide an audience as possible.

The survey is at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=2MSCiPBejBuojgyNTs0kHg_3d_3d

The deadline for survey completion is October 31, 2008.

Thank you for your help!

Hello everyone.  I participated in this survery and found it to be quick, easy to understand, and very helpful to the future direction of the BABOK and business analysis profession.

I recommend everyone who is able to take the survey.  It took only 5 minutes or so.
