How robust is your data?
HI all, I am often (probably like most Consultants) requesting data for analysis.

I am also often in the position where I am lead to believe that the data is in a robust place and it's not until  start requesting and analysing , that it is quite obvious that it really isn't!

Has anyone got any key questions/ processes that they use to mitigate as far is as practicable?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Best wishes

"I am often (probably like most Consultants) requesting data for analysis."

As a consultant, I have access to various databases and use SQL or some program I write to get the data I need to analyze.

If I'm looking for something in particular ... maybe older data in some Data Warehouse, I'll ask the DBA where to look ... Library, Tables, etc.
