Recent BA Graduate

I recently graduated with my BAS in IT (stream of business system analysis and design).
During college I was involved with many system analysis and design courses and projects. The projects mostly exposed us with requirements gathering, elicitations, system design, and business process management. As for the programming, I took two courses on Java and one on SQL and HTML.The program was mostly business oriented.
My question is how I should start building a career towards BA, considering the fact that I do not have professional experience.

Thanks

IRe: Recent BA Graduate

It sounds like your bachelors degree gave you a great foundation in business/systems analysis.  Your next step will be to land a position as a junior business analyst.  Try to find a recruiter in your local area who specializes in placing Business Analysts.

Also - consider the option of volunteering your time as a BA for a non-profit organization in order to gain experience.  Don't forget to join your local IIBA chapter and network with other business analysts.
