Hi - I'm a new Business Analyst

Hi,

I hope this message reaches you in good health.

I have started my new role as a Business Analyst, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips, tricks and techniques that would be useful to me in my new role.

The change team are introducing Scaled Agile framework and are putting in more effort on business partnering. Any information, links to free courses and webinars would be greatly appreciated for these topics.

Thank you for your time in advance and I hope we can connect going forward.

Hi Adel,

Here are a couple of resources from ModernAnalys.com:

One area you might want to look into is TBM (Technology Business Management) helping you identify the business capabilities to be supported, the application and services provied by technology, the cost and timelines, etc.

Here's a good white paper:  Accelerating Business Value with SAFe and Technology Business Management

I’ve heard “The End is Near!” for Business Analysts for almost 20 years.  Waterfall project management, with its need for formal requirements, is dead…a dinosaur…so 1990’s.  To be honest, that’s mostly true.  With the publishing of the Agile Manifesto in 2001 there was no need for a 2-inch-...

As business analysts, we identify and define the solutions that will maximize the value delivered by an organization to its stakeholders.
