Re: Title not BA but requires BA work

Hi Pramodh555,

Stick to your guns. If the role doesn't feel right for you - don't take it. You have to look long term at a role as well as short term and you seem to have made your mid up about this - which is good.

The role 'Applications Service Delivery Officer' sounds a bit like throwing several roles into one and if the specific responsibilities within that role aren't what you are looking for then the role is not for you. It's interesting that he is trying to get you to be very flexible but doesn't seem willing to be the same back. This would personally cause one or two bells to go off in my head about how your future working relationship would work. Go with whatever your gut instinct is and once you have made a decision - stick with it.

There are always other roles out there. Best of luck.

Re: Title not BA but requires BA work

Hi Stewart,

Thank you very much for your advice. Actually i had a discussion with my PM and she advised the same. So at the moment if the Service Delivery Manager requires any help from me , i provide it until my contract ends . Therefore i ensure the relationship is managed :).
