Business Analyst vs Data Analyst
Modified By AnalyzeThat on 7/1/2011 6:29:04 PM)

I am having to choose between two job offers:  One if a for a business analyst position and the other as a data reporting analyst.  I have much more experiene as a business analyst but am considering switching over to data analysis as the BA role can be  quite a head-turning position.   As BA, I was often times pulled in many different directions and had to change my functional documents and drawings so many times that it cut into my deliverable deadlines. The BA can end up being the scapegoat when QA testing fails.  Is this normal?  Can anyone tell me what type of experience I will have in the Data Analyst field?  I am trying to find out which position I am a better fit for.
