Importance of Testing and BA reporting tools 

Hello every one!!!

I come across some questions i faced from recent interview

1) BA reporting tools( Could you please say what they are...?)

2) What isyour idea and importance of testing?( Please can any one give me answer testing at what levels and its importance)

Hi Srikanth,

What do you mean by BA (Business Analysis) reporting tools? 

A few types of reporting tools come to mind:

  • Tools which allow the analyst to create views into the requirements repository/artifacts and show things like: all downstream design elements impacted by a given requirement, all requirements which have the same business need, all requirements which have a high priority, etc.
  • Tools which allow the business analysts to analyze data and create reports to be used by business executives for business intelligence purposes, by the legal department for compliance and regulatory purposes, by the finance department for budget and forecasting purposes, etc.
  • Tools which allow the analyst/manager to measure the BA's productivity.
