dfd0-Can I join 2 processes that differ only in db to 1?

Ok I got a process that works the same for 2 diff requests the only thing it differes in is the db it saves in information in.
Can I join them to 1 and write the db as db1/db2 ? for the dfd0...I will split them for dfd 1 , obviously.

DFD stands for data flow diagram.
DFD0 is the most general and then it breaks to smaller processes described in DFD 1 which breaks into DFD2....so on.It show sthe main processes in teh system.
So since I have 2 which are similar only differ by database I thought I shall join them in teh diagram.

the purpose of the DFD is to show what data is flowing, where it comes from, where it goes to and what processes manipulate it along the way. There are some situations where it makes sense to show physical databases, in those cases I think it is fine to do what you are suggesting. In other cases the databases are behind the scenes and business stakeholders dont really care. In those cases I would not bother to show the split.

As I mentioned in a reply to another post of yours, in some cases process flows may be a better way for you to communicate this type of information. The data flow shows all possible connections without any branching or logic.
