BRD for web integration

Hello BA's

Currently I am working on creating BRD for my new project.

The requirement of the project is to integrated 3 different websites  into one coherent system.

There are 2 phases of the project 1) Must have requirements 2) Nice to have reequiremets

Currently I am working on phase 2.

I have got some requirements from the Business reagrding the changes they want to have for the new system.

Basically they are all enhancements. They want some of the content to be deleted and reorganize contents.

Now if I am creating BRD for this application, should I highlight the changes they have suggested or just create the BRD keeping in mind requirement of the new system.

They have also insisted to include wireframes in the BRD so that they can have an idea about the look and feel of the new system.

But, can we include wireframes (UI) into BRD?

Thanks in advance..

Re: BRD for web integration

 Hi Niks,

I suggest one thing you should do before you do anything else, is not accept the changes the business are proposing to the system at face value. Get behind what they are asking for to their actual business requirement. Then and only then think about what the solution could be. It may end up being a lot different to what the business is asking you to change.

So your BRD should start with a list of their business requirements and then move on to your proposed solution.

Regarding the two project phases you mention, generally we find the requirements and prioritise them afterwards.
