well, hello...

Hi all,

well, introducing myself in these boards never get any easier, I think. The name Björn (a swedish name), I am German, living and working in Ireland... traveled most of the continents (missing South America still...) and I am working as a Senior Systems Analyst with the IS department of an insurance company. Having recently been introduced to the IIBA program I am new to the community but have been working in BA and SA for about 8 years constantly by now.

I am more then happy to share some of my experience... English is not my first language but I should be able to understand you all.

Björn

Bjorn, welcome! (sorry, I don't know how to get the two dots over the "o")

It's great to have another experienced analyst join the community. No matter how Sr. each of us may be we can always learn from others.

English may not be your first language but you write very clearly in it. Also, while it's important to be able to understand what everyone is asking or saying, this is very much a global community so it's somewhat common to have some members who struggle with English. We all do our best ;-)

As Business Analysts in Agile teams, we often hear about Definition of Ready (DOR) and Definition of Done (DOD). But beyond the buzzwords, these two concepts are powerful tools to drive clarity, consistency, and quality in our work. Definition of Ready ensures a user story is truly ready for development. It answers: Is this story clear, feasible...
In today's fast-paced digital world, successful projects aren't just built on great code—they're built on clarity. And that clarity often comes from one key player: the Business Analyst. At the heart of every great product or system is a need—a business goal, a customer pain point, or a regulatory requirement. But busines...
I have always loved cooking. I learned from my Grandma June and her kitchen was her sanctuary, a small, warm sunlit space filled with jars of spices, stacks of cookbooks, and the comforting smell of something always on the stove or baking in the oven. Grandma June was as great a cook as she was a teacher to me. She never followed a recipe “to...
