Hi,

I am pretty new to this forum. I just stumbled to this website and learnt a lot about Business Analyst career. I have a Masters in Information Systems. I currently live in Baltimore and would be willing to work as a volunteer under a Senior Business analyst so that i can have hands on experience. I have knowledge about UML diagrams but i dont have a practical experience, so i just want to gain practical experience working as a jr business analyst (volunteer). I would be thankful if anyone can help me out with this.

Frist thank you for replying to my post. I forgot my ID so i had to register it again. Currently i am looking for a job as Jr.Business Analyst and I thought while hunting for my job I can learn by working with a Sr. Business Analyst by helping them and getting trained practically. I am willing to work for free just to learn and gain practical experience. I have prior experience as intern working as developer and also have testing experience. I did my Masters in information systems and while doing that i did a project for my Systems analysts Class. So i have knowledge of UML modelling but i wanted to gain more experience by working with  experienced business analyst so that i can improve my skills. I am trying hard to find a position as jr. business analyst but looking at the market conditions i am finding it very difficult to find a position. That is why i decided to atleast volunteer as a jr business analyst so that i dont waste my time and gain experience. My GPA is 3.7 and I am willing to work very hard . I would appreciate if anyone can help me out by letting me work under them. I can work as a volunteer if they want. All i need is to learn and gain some experience so that i can get more knowledge.
