Hi guys,
I am currently studying for a degree and am looking over past papers to get an idea of what I am to expect when I face my exam and I have come across a question that has stumped me and I was hoping that someone on the forum would be able to help me.
What are the characteristics of object oriented approach to analysis and design?
I am not sure if this is asking me to list the key elements of the OO approach including classes, instances, objects, attributes, methods and messages or should it be more along the lines of the fact that it is a programming paradigm that uses objects and their interactions to design applications and computer programs. Programming techniques may include features such as encapsulation, modularity, polymorphism, and inheritance.
I would greatly appreciate anyones advice on this matter as I am not sure exactly what I am being asked for. Thanks in advance guys
My guess is the later, but I would ask the lecturer.
