Can someone like me with BA in Zoology and Anthropology work as a DA or BA?

Thanks for taking this post. I have a science back ground, though not a BS per say.  I am interested starting out as a Data Analyst, unfortunately I can exactly afford to pay for any more college, can I go to any chapter meeting in my hometown? Do you have any suggestions on what someone like me can do? Thank you for your time.

First of all: yes - there is no reason why your degree should prevent you from becoming a business analyst in the future.  Also - there is not need for you pursue another college degree.  You could always decide to pursue a masters degree at a later time.

The reality though is that you don't have any experience nor education in business analysis. Therefore, I would suggest that you get started but investing in a good introductory course in business analysis (ideally instructor lead).  This will help you not only gain a good understanding of the profession but will also provide you with the opportunity to discuss more details with the instructor and fellow students.

Best of luck in your future endeavors!

Adrian

It answers: Is this story clear, feasible...
In today's fast-paced digital world, successful projects aren't just built on great code—they're built on clarity. And that clarity often comes from one key player: the Business Analyst. At the heart of every great product or system is a need—a business goal, a customer pain point, or a regulatory requirement. But busines...
I have always loved cooking. I learned from my Grandma June and her kitchen was her sanctuary, a small, warm sunlit space filled with jars of spices, stacks of cookbooks, and the comforting smell of something always on the stove or baking in the oven. Grandma June was as great a cook as she was a teacher to me. She never followed a recipe “to...
