Career Goals -- BAs included

I read with interest the advice given to those who want to pursue a career as a BA or in BA related Jobs. IT is very dynamic and what you plan today might be old hat in 10 to 15 years.

Given this limitation I set myself a goal to DOUBLE my income every 7 years and the mode of employment I chose was contracting/consulting. 

I've achieved my goal in 84, 91, 98 and 2005!  2012 will be interesting!
