Re: Can I be a BA?

Hi Sagar,

Yes!  You can definitelly become a business analyst.

You probably already have many of the skills needed by a business analyst and have already performed many of the tasks done by BAs.

My best advice would be to take a few business analysis courses which would give you a solid understanding of the profession as well as the next steps to get started.

Re: Can I be a BA?

 Hi Sagar,

I agree with Adrian except before taking and paying for a course, consider approaching your IT department or the BA manager in your company. Have a chat with them and ask there advice on what to do. You might find you can move sideways fairly quickly. In my experience its much easier to move career in your current company than look for a change externally with limited relevant experience.

The training you get then may be free and even if you pay you'll have the added benefit of putting it to use straight away on the job.

Good luck.

In today's fast-paced digital world, successful projects aren't just built on great code—they're built on clarity. And that clarity often comes from one key player: the Business Analyst. At the heart of every great product or system is a need—a business goal, a customer pain point, or a regulatory requirement. But busines...
I have always loved cooking. I learned from my Grandma June and her kitchen was her sanctuary, a small, warm sunlit space filled with jars of spices, stacks of cookbooks, and the comforting smell of something always on the stove or baking in the oven. Grandma June was as great a cook as she was a teacher to me. She never followed a recipe “to...
