New to BA Role 

Hi All,

I am new to BA role and my domain is Tax & Finance and I could say very new to IT industry. I needed your help in understanding BA role and waiting for projects to sign off. When I am doing my first project Requirement Gathering what could be the best approach for planning ?

Any source of information that you can suggest. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Kiran,

Without understanding your work environment and the expectations placed on you, it is hard to provide you with useful advice since most of it would come out very generic.

My suggestion would be to seek out existing analysts who have some tenure with your current organization.  They should be able to provide you insights as to what is expected and what works within your company.

Don't be afraid to seek help and ask questions of those who have been there before you.
