My question is - will i be able to get into BA in any IT firm or should i try for some other role.

There is no standard definition of a BA.    Tell us your definition of one.

Re: Need to know some details on career

Hi Tony

Thanks For your reply.

According to me BA is the one who translates the clients business requirements to Technical document,  who is like a bridge between client and the techies.

so if i have got expertise in various feilds wil i be able to get into I.T again.

I do not know if you are saying you want to be a BA or in IT.

I would say you can try for BA in an IT firm, since you have sales/presales experience that expereince will help in people management skills required for IT BA role. since you have MBA and worked on IT based support work along with pre sales work, your educational background and experience will help in understanding the concepts of BA responsibilities. It would be better if you attend some basic BA training, understand how IT projects are developed along with BA's role in it.
