management coaching

Is anyone out there doing management coaching?  Who are you doing your coaching with?  How much are they charging you?  Do you feel you're getting your money's worth?

Re: management coaching

Hi Ray,

I have not gone through management coaching myself but I have heard that if you find the right coach it can make a difference. Of course - good coaches cost a lot of money - at least that's what I hear.

Re: management coaching

There is a bit of an industry in management coaching so beware of people that don't come with obvious credentials.

Basically people are sold on the idea of management coaching via a franchise model - you can image how a systematise moel could help, but it also means there is a KPI out there wher someone has to be selling franchises.  And once there is a KPI (and incntives avaialble) the quality of coaches slips.

I'm not sayiong they are all no good - just to beware.
