Need some advice

Hey everyone,

I recently graduated college in December with a BS in business management.  My degree granted me a relatively broad exposure to business processes, with a small amount of emphasis on information systems and IT.  After learning more about the position of a business analyst, I have come to the conclusion that it is my best path for success.  Its field of work interests me very much, and I feel that given my background I have plenty of time to learn IT.  My question is, given that I have relatively no IT experience (however I did buy several books on becoming a business analyst and am getting more aquainted with IT), what would be my best bet for landing a job as a business analyst?  I am aware that I will probably not directly land a role as a BA, but I am willing to take on a job with functions that would transfer over to a BA position.  Keeping in mind that I am looking for a complete entry level job within the field, what are some entry level job titles that I could specifically look for within my job search?

So far all I have really seen that can transfer over from the business side would be any position regarding project management or coordination; is this definitely true?  I have noticed from the few job postings that with certain project coordinators there would be relatively little to no exposure to IT; would this necessarily disqualify me from future BA positions?  Are there any other titles I should look for that would get me started on my career towards becoming a BA?  Thanks for the help, I'm really happy I found such a great website.

In today's fast-paced digital world, successful projects aren't just built on great code—they're built on clarity. And that clarity often comes from one key player: the Business Analyst. At the heart of every great product or system is a need—a business goal, a customer pain point, or a regulatory requirement. But busines...
I have always loved cooking. I learned from my Grandma June and her kitchen was her sanctuary, a small, warm sunlit space filled with jars of spices, stacks of cookbooks, and the comforting smell of something always on the stove or baking in the oven. Grandma June was as great a cook as she was a teacher to me. She never followed a recipe “to...
