New to Forum with a challenge!

Hello - I am Nanite.  I am an IT Analyst doing business analyst work.  Previously, an HRIS Project Manager.  I joined this site to gather best practices from other business analysts.  Currently, I am involved in an IT Skills Analysis and need assistance with working models of span of control diagrams.  My challenge is this.  The analysis is by Job bucket or Skill Set.  However, these positions report across functions.  Has anyone had any experience in this type of effort?  I look forward to also sharing.  Enjoy your day!
