Analyst role after COTS software procurement

Hello everyone,

I'd be interested to hear members' views on an aspect of COTS software procurement.  In an organisation that has procured new COTS software, what do you think should be the Analyst's responsibilities after the contract has been signed?  (Let's assume that the Analyst was previously involved in documenting the business requirements and evaluating the offerings from the competing suppliers.)

There are a plenty of frameworks out there that define the Analyst's role in development projects, but there seems to be little guidance for Analysts working on COTS software procurement projects.

Looking forward to hearing your ideas.

Regards,

Rob.

Grandma June was as great a cook as she was a teacher to me. She never followed a recipe “to...
