Writing articles for BA journals as a Free lancer

Hi ALL,

I am shoeb currently working as a Business Analyst with a MNC in Paris- France. I have over 4 years of relevant BA expereince in  IT.

I am interested in writing articles for BA magazines as a Freelancer. In this regards, can anyone guide me as to the available options. I dont mind any magazine to start off with. Also I dont mind if the magazine is based out of any country, as  long as the language in which I am expected to submit articles is English

Also how much can i expect to earn per article. ??

Hi Shoeb,

Before I started writing for ModernAnalyst.com, I did a bit of research into this very question.  Unfortunately, there do not appear to be any, strictly, BA magazines out there.  Of course, I did not look much beyond the U.S.  You do have the option of writing freelance for magazines that publish general Information Technology articles. You can find out what magazines pay by looking at a copy of the Writer's Digest in a library or bookstore. You can also go to the magazine's website and look for editorial information.  They may pay for articles, but I believe there is a lot of competition.

The web sites that are BA specific do not pay for articles.  Instead of payment, it's a way to get your name out into the BA community as a trusted source of information.  You will notice that many of the writers have their own consulting businesses.

This has been my experience, but you should continue to research this topic as long as you are still intersted.

Good luck,

It answers: Is this story clear, feasible...
In today's fast-paced digital world, successful projects aren't just built on great code—they're built on clarity. And that clarity often comes from one key player: the Business Analyst. I have always loved cooking. I learned from my Grandma June and her kitchen was her sanctuary, a small, warm sunlit space filled with jars of spices, stacks of cookbooks, and the comforting smell of something always on the stove or baking in the oven. Grandma June was as great a cook as she was a teacher to me. She never followed a recipe “to...
