Re: Presentation +open-source reports
Are you talking about tool for report creation or about a list of predefined reports i.e. for Retail?

Hello everybody,

I have been away from this forum during a while, sorry not to have answered questions before. I am pleased to see there is a lot of interest around the the ResearchFarm project.

Great news ! You can have now a better insight on this project, as the website is now launched (www.researchfarm.co.uk).

To sum up our aims, we want to create an open research platform focused on Retail. The project will really be visible in 2008 Q3, we are presently gathering a team of freelance analysts interested to join this project. Everybody can join and propose some subjects from now. Some typical subjects we are targeting :

- Retailing in BRIC (Brazil Russia India China)
- Pharmacy Retailing
- Health & Beauty Retailing

How to get started ?
- You can subscribe to the website (for free obviously !) to be kept informed
- Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] for any question, or either on this forum.
- If you have any idea of reports, let's create it ! RF is a wiki-like, everybody registered can access and modify. i.e. You could create a company profile.

During the next months, we will start a communication plan around RF targeting retailers, FMCG manufacturers, consultancies, property companies... Like wikipedia, the more users we will get, the better research we will get...

We are conscious research has a price and analysts work hard to produce reports. In a further time, we would like to be able to provide analysts the opportunity to sell their reports online, and after a few months release them as open-source.

Please help us to make the research open !

Regards,

As Business Analysts in Agile teams, we often hear about Definition of Ready (DOR) and Definition of Done (DOD). But beyond the buzzwords, these two concepts are powerful tools to drive clarity, consistency, and quality in our work. Definition of Ready ensures a user story is truly ready for development. It answers: Is this story clear, feasible...
In today's fast-paced digital world, successful projects aren't just built on great code—they're built on clarity. And that clarity often comes from one key player: the Business Analyst. At the heart of every great product or system is a need—a business goal, a customer pain point, or a regulatory requirement. But busines...
I have always loved cooking. I learned from my Grandma June and her kitchen was her sanctuary, a small, warm sunlit space filled with jars of spices, stacks of cookbooks, and the comforting smell of something always on the stove or baking in the oven. Grandma June was as great a cook as she was a teacher to me. She never followed a recipe “to...
