Hi: I really like Larimar's suggestion of joining a Toastmater's club. Talk about doing something uncomforatable for the typical IT person! However, if one want rapid progress - that is about the quickest way of getting it. As far as tech skills, I think it is much more important to be able to work to a higher level of abstraction. The typical "techie" is so oriented to being grounded in the implementation details that he/she becomes incapable of seeing the bigger picture. Tony
