I am Naveen and I have done my MBA in marketing. I am working as a Asst Area Manager in Bangalore for past 4 years. I am interested in pursuing my career as a Business Analyst. How to start my career as a BA? Can anyone help me out regarding this
Actually, maybe you can help me out first, and maybe youself too, by answering this question: why do you want to start a career as a Business Analyst? What do yout think the job is? I ask because many of us in the discipline, and many employers too, have different definitions of what a Business Analyst is or does.
In parallel, are you in Marketing now? or something else? Why would you want to stop doing what you do now?

Thanks for the reply. First I want to let you know that due to some health reasons i am not able to continue in my present job. This will be my last month in my current company. As I have got 4 years of marketing experience I think I can able to analyse the Business life cycle. If I am not wrong the Business Analyst job is to find accurate solution for the problems faced by the clients.
