Systems Architecture

Hello fellow analysts.

I was put on a project that started about 3 weeks ago and as part of my Requirements deliverable I was asked to describe system architecture and process complexity (this is due to a fact that the company is on a tight budget and decided against the involvement of the architects).  I did some research online regarding system architecture and found quite a few useful links regarding TOGAF and their online HTML manual regarding the aproach to system architecture process.  However, I am still a little confused as to how to model the 4 domain levels: Business Architecture, Application Architecture, Data and Technology.  If any of you had to ever describe and model system architecture could you please provide your feedback and point me in the right direction of where I can begin?

Regards,

Roman

Re: Systems Architecture

Hi Roman

When I have had to so this I have tended to bastardised Context and Process Diagrams.  The people at the IIBA  who are putting the BABOK together seem to like the Zachman framework for enterprise analysis.
