BABOK v3

After reading the BABOK (version 3 released in 2015), I was left with a wealth of information about what it is that a BA does, but very little understanding of Why? A lot of artifacts are created, but it isn't clear who they are for what they are used for. Most of this information is there, but it is distributed over several hundred pages of text.

The model described in the above link attempts to re-organize the BABOK into things; people, artifacts, guidelines, techniques, tasks and the relationships between them.

Part 1 contains an overview of the model. Part 2 includes views into artifacts that are produced, who they are for, how they are created and their purpose. Parts 3 and 4 may one day, include a complete description of stakeholders, artifacts, techniques, tools, guidelines and everything else described in the BABOK, but since these do not exist at this time, the reader should refer to the BABOK for their descriptions.
