Tridev,

A while ago I posted a scenario that might answered your question. A KEY difference between BRD and FRS is the BOUNDARY (the square box of the usecases)

Have a read

All the best.

Re: Business Requirement V/s Functional Requirement

They both describe system behavior (system being both people and/or computers).  Now, ask yourself if there is a need for two.   Any experienced data flow diagramer will tell you of course not.  I can create a set of DFD's with my top level context diagram representing all people and all computers in a large organization and all the manual and automated activities that occur - including highest level business goal setting.

So why have two?  The answer is not logical but political.

Thanks a Lot Mr. K... The link provided by you has clear matter about Business and functional requirement...

Still i would like to know more

1. If we are developing a software product how do we know about what and how many usecases  do we require to make it a complete workable product?

2. Can we club both  Business Requirement and Functional Requirement into one single document; so that developer can understand and code the project accordingly.

Please provide your valuable feedback...
