Hi,
I joined an IT company as a management trainee. From the past 2 months there hasn't been any projects available in my domain. I was thinking that this would be the perfect time to go for some certifications. But as far i see IIBA certifications require some form of project experience. I was wondering is there any certifications courses/ Training available that is recognized & which doesn't need any experience . My search so far has led me to BCS-Foundation in business analysis & QAI - Certified Associate business analyst. I am confused in choosing.

With No Experience ... Hiring People Will Wonder How You Are Certified With No Experience.
However, You might check into some community college certification courses.
I want to commend you for seeking to improve your skills and status as business analyst. Anything you can do is better than nothing.
My opinion is that the main benefit form obtaining any certification is the learning process you go through as you seek to attain the desired certification.
The secondary benefit is that you can add the newly acquired certification to your resume.
Besides the two you have identified, there are many business analysis training companies, colleges and universities which offer certificate programs.
Between the two options you listed, I would go with BCS as they have a wider recognition.
Best of luck!
Adrian
