Soft/Hard Reject 

 Hi

Can anyone advise what a 'soft reject' and a 'hard reject' is?

There are "Soft Deletes" and "Hard Deletes" for database records.....could you mean that?

 Yes, that sounds about right.

does soft mean it is deleted to a place where it can be restored, and hard mean it is deleted for god?

 yes. Soft delete could be as simple as a flag on the record to say its been deleted. Searches ignore it, don't see in grids, etc.

Yes, and the Hard Delete is where those flagged records are physically deleted from the database.
