A while ago I remember seeing a graph or table that outlined the cost/effect that bad requirments have on a project. As the project gets closer to the end the bad req's have a greater effect. Anyne seen something like this?

Yep -I think it was Barry Boehm's work from the 80's.
THe keyword search should ppbably include 'cost of quality' or 'cost of poor requirements.' I don't think the numbers stand up anymore but the principle remains.
