and what methods that will be more effective and helpful ? please i need your advises
Many thanks in advance
Note: my major is SA but Its the first time for me to work as System Analyst
hello
Any suggestions ?
Hi Lulu,
It's a big hard to answer since we don't know what's in the BRD: does it have just simple "the system shall... " requirements? Does it include "as-is" and "to-be" process flows? Are any of the requirements in terms of models: business entity models, process models, etc.
In general, once requirements are understood well enough (they will change anyway) it's time for some type of design (depending on the need and problem at hand), and it could range from enterprise level to much smaller application or even component level:
Hi Adrian,
I highly appreciate your response
your answer was so helful fpr me , BRD that we perform includes : ( use case, dataflow digrams, business requirments, use case description, altrantives, normal course, business rules.. etc)
The next natural stage after the business requirement documentation is the design stage,. All the diagrams ie data flow, swim lane diagrams etc should follow.
Get the BRD plus design documents signed off by the stakeholders. This may take another 3 months depending on the size scope and complexity of the project. Coding should begin and you will take a back seat, but you should be available for the occasional clarification for the developers.
Fast forward to UAT testing, back and forth again..... then implementation... and expect to support the PROJECT for another 12 months or for the life of the project
