Can anyone help me understand the importance and requirements for BA Certification and its requirements

Global Standard for Business Analysis Certifications | IIBA®

There are other institutes that provide certification in Business Analysis but this is the most sought after. PMI (Project Management Institute) also provides Agile BA certification which you might want to look into. Let me know if you need additional information.

If you've already earned a bachelor's degree, you'll need at least three years' experience, or 4,500 hours, in business analysis consecutively within the past eight years to earn this certification. Without a bachelor's degree, you'll need five years or 7,500 hours experience.
