Recommedations for Dataflow diagram / workflow / data dictionary software
I need some DFD / workflow / data dictionary software. Please note that I need more than a tool to draw charts. I'm looking for something that will draw charts, maintain consistency between workflows at the different DFD levels and generate / maintain the data dictionary. Any suggestions?

Re: Recommedations for Dataflow diagram / workflow / data dictionary software

Yes, I have. It's an attractive program in many ways, but it suffers from a serious flaw where DFDs are concerned - it doesn't bring the data flows down from the parent when creating a subprocess. You have to recreate them manually.

It is unfortunate that  Visual Paradigm can't deal with this situation, because having to manually  recreate all the dataflows one by one every time you generate a subprocess  largely defeats the purpose of having Data Flow Diagram management  software. Is there some sort of workaround to identify the workflows that  belong to a subprocess once the new subprocesses have been defined?
