Sinu,
You are going to have use some of your native wit and charm to get in to the role as it depends on your personal circumstances: for example you say you are an Account Manager for Oracle...? Some of your Accounts may have ideas about how they can leverage their Oracle applications and you maybe supply them with BA resource to develop their ideas? If so get involved with that: work with the Accounts and the analysts you send in, see how they operate, see if you like what you see, see if you can add value as well. When you have gained confidence you could even start to do some of the analysis on your own?
Ok, maybe that won't work for you if the opportunities to do that aren't there, and if so you you will have to think and plan a strategy for achieving your objectives:
* increasing your experience and knowledge of business analysis
* changing your role title and job content to Business Analyst
