BA Work From Home Program

I am currently exploring the opportunity for Business Analyst to work from home 100% of the time. Part of our challenge surrounds collaboration tools that we can utilize during requirement sessions.  We currently have Webex, Instant Messenger, email and other basic applications (presentation).  I am looking for something the BA's can utilize via Web Ex to present and allow users to collaborate with them - such as an electronic white board.  Does anyone have input on the best collaboration tool to use?

Re: BA Work From Home Program
I could work at home to write documentation ... but to get that stuff to write, I need to be at the clients place and talk to people, watch things so I can ask more questions, etc.

Maybe Its the old age now and I'm different than the new BA's or whatever, but I can't sit home 100% of the time for any project.

Depends what you mean by collaborate? Jira and Confluence are good.

Re: BA Work From Home Program
For brainstorming collaboration (earlier stages) you could check out coggle.it.  Its a free website and you can share it with other users.  They must have a google account to be able to access shared diagrams and edit.  All users can make concurrent changes and see updates in real time.  Without a google account, you only have the option to download a pdf of your diagram and share the pdf - not so helpful.  This tool could be used for mind maps, functional decomposition, and other general brainstorming.

As Business Analysts in Agile teams, we often hear about Definition of Ready (DOR) and Definition of Done (DOD). It answers: Is this story clear, feasible...
In today's fast-paced digital world, successful projects aren't just built on great code—they're built on clarity. And that clarity often comes from one key player: the Business Analyst. At the heart of every great product or system is a need—a business goal, a customer pain point, or a regulatory requirement. But busines...
I have always loved cooking. I learned from my Grandma June and her kitchen was her sanctuary, a small, warm sunlit space filled with jars of spices, stacks of cookbooks, and the comforting smell of something always on the stove or baking in the oven. Grandma June was as great a cook as she was a teacher to me. She never followed a recipe “to...
