Hi,
CBAP is a huge step. Would someone suggest other similar certifications that might be gained easily. My intention is to climb a few setps and see where i am. This will be an effortless and cost effective way to weigh ourselves.
I checked out a few IBM product certifications, but they are stricktly confined to the Rationa tools. I am looking for something that covers the whole BA roles and responsibilities.

CBAP is a big step. But the IIBA have now created the CCBA as an intermediate qualification. This is from their website
"IIBA® is pleased to announce a new business analysis certification. The Certification of Competency in Business AnalysisTM (CCBATM) is an intermediate level designation that will launch by the end of 2010."
I'd go for that now and aim for CBAP at a later stage.

Brian is correc... the CCBA might be a good option to consider.
