What is my job title???

 Hi :)

I was previously working as a Treasury dealer and have been assigned to work on implementing the new core banking system for the bank as part of the Treasury team.

Now what my current job entails is documenting case scenarios for the treasury department, GAP analysis, being trained on the new system, testing the new system and all the scenarios, liaising with the rest of the department groups within the project team, making sure everything runs smoothly and also training the treasury staff at the end of the project etc.

I've been told that this could be a business analyst post, however I don't think it is the case because as far as I am aware business analyst is more IT related and technical.

Does anyone know what job title I could have as I would like to update my CV and want to be specific?

Thanks!

Re: What is my job title???

Hi Allie,

You are a performing the work of a Business Analyst.  While many BAs work in the IT world not all of them do.  BAs who are very system centric tend to be called Systems Analysts.  There are many BAs who work just on the business side helping the optimize and improve the business.
