ICT BA openings in Sydney, NSW

Hi,

I'm a Australian permanent resident holder currently living in Sri Lanka and planing to move to Sydney in early March 2014.

I'm having 4 yrs of BA experience and 4 yrs of Software testing (QA) experience in banking, insurance, trading, Aero engineering and Law domains.

How about the ICT BA job market in Sydney and how easy is to find a BA job ?

Can I apply for jobs in Sydney while I'm in Sri Lanka and how is the possibility of getting a job?

Thanks

Re: ICT BA openings in Sydney, NSW

 Hi Dhanushka,

I live in Sydney. BA market was quiet last year and contract rates were down but things have improved with the new year. More jobs around. It will take a while for rates to recover though probably.

Best place to look for work is on http://www.seek.com.au/it-jobs

You can apply from Sri Lanka over the internet. Make sure you state you have permanent residency. You'll need to be in Australia to get hired though.

If you have a firm arrival date, perhaps try contacting some local recruiters and see if they will look for you in anticipation of you getting here.

Good luck.

Kimbo
