One thing I noticed is that if you would like to combine both flowcharts and UML diagrams in one file, it’s tricky.
You may publish the whole file online as HTML and there is a handy zoom feature. Also the pages are named after the tabs in the file.
I hope its not too late and this helps.
My understanding is that Visio - Professional edition is the one which includes support for UML beyond just a simple stencil. You can create a UML project and create specific diagrams (activity vs. sequence, etc.). The tool also supports a UML Model Explorer (tree-like viewer) which allows you to view all object in the model.
