The average business analyst isn't good enough anymore.
Modified By Chris Adams on 8/8/2014 1:07:55 PM)

According the IAG (BA Consulting firm), the average business analyst isn't good enough anymore. Basically, they spell the fact that on large, process changing projects, average business analyst severely underperform. Which got me thinking about the fact that in general, more people will fall closer to average than exception (normal curve from stats). Which most of us are average business analyst. Its a scary thought, but how do we stay ahead of the curve (other than reading all the awesome articles from ModernAnalyst.Com).

If the project covers multiple disciplines like electrical, mechanical, controls and software, the business analyst can assist, but the systems analyst is responsible.
