USE cases

I have been reading this forum threads and I found them very resourceful. However, I do not find any thread that explains, which tools would help draw the USE cases and DFDs. I do not have Visio 2010. Are there any tools that can be downloaded/installed for free?

Re: USE cases

Monali,

Check out Enterprise Architect from www.sparxsystems.com

It isn't free but its only about $100 or $200 for a single license.

Not sure why you're doing Use Cases with DFDs? No reason not to I suppose, except convention.

Re: USE cases

NOT doing USE cases With DFDs. But Visio 2010 has ability to do flowcharts, USE cases etc in one s/w. I am looking for something similar but free if possible.
