I am new to retail and distribution domains, and have a project coming up. 

We will be building a BI solution for a new stand alone store. In terms of requirements,  we need to build modules on the following:

1) Store operations 2)  Customer analysis 2) Inventory 4) Supply chain 5) Promotion analysis:

Can someone help me with what specific areas in terms of questions should I focus on, during requirment gathering?

Someone with knowledge of retail domain and BI, please help me.
