High level requirements model

Hello.

We have just published a high level diagram of a generic requirements model that we are elaborating for our Eclipse based open source requirements management framework, ORMF. The model is based on EMF and is intended to be as generalised as possible to accomodate the needs of a wide range of requirements types and to be sufficiently extensible to allow adopter to contribute their own specific types if needed.

Please see the model's wiki page http://wiki.eclipse.org/Requirements_Model  for further details.

We would welcome any comments, criticisms, ideas that you might have at this initial stage of development. Your contribution will make the model stronger and more resilient.

Thank you.

B.

Hi again

Based upon all the reviews and comments we have gratefully received on our originally proposed requirements model at the core of ORMF, we have now hatched a new model, which you will find it at http://wiki.eclipse.org/Requirements_Model _Part_Three

Please let all that good feedback flow (all comments on the wiki page itself, please).

Enjoy,
B.
